Man, it must suck to live in California and wake up and find out that during the night they caught Saddam Hussein half a world away. Happy travels. It's cold here.

Hi Matt,

I'd love to meet you and would be more than happy to treat you and your wife to to coffee and pastries (at the amazing Szamos Confectionery) while you are in Budapest.

Let me know.

Have a wonderful time in Brati! Say hi to it for me. I haven't been since 1998 but the city was already looking terrific then (Meciar notwithstanding). And reports I've had back from various tourists have all been shaded with...delighted surprise. Who knew this little city on the Danube was so sweet? (Well, those of us who were there for years...)

Enjoy,
C

I have to wonder: what will you do in Mannem (=Mannheim for the non-locals)?

Matt, awesome, we'll be seeing each other again for New Year's then. Ironically, I think that's the last time we saw each other face to face, in Budapest, no? Do you know of a good party yet? I presume your beautiful bride will also be with you?

If you haven't seen your emails yet, btw, please check out GenerationExpat.com, sign up and spread the word! I'm counting on you to help bring up the Prague crew for this.
