Too much talk of 'friends'. Sounds a little shallow to me.

I was hoping to read a note from Matt Welch on the Red Sox/Cubs events.

A note: Jeter's 'approving applause' at the top of the dugout steps is getting a little annoying. Another hit, the 'captain' approves. You got born into money, dude. Go to Kansas and win a series.

Hey check this out. The Daily Nexus website has a redesign and the weather is now on the front page:
And paying heed to the ancient weather gods (Welch, Diepenbrock et al), it references Wild Turkey, nakedness, slobbering, binoculars and a little weather.

So I take it you like the Mick Taylor era of the Stones era better than when Brian Jones was in the band. That's favorite era of the Stones, but maybe I'm reading too much into your post in your in your comments section.

Sullivan -- Yeah, that's my favorite stretch. Beggar's Banquet, Let it Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile. I go through the odd Between the Buttons phases, and extended Black & Blue/Some Girls/Emotional Rescue jags, but the '68-72 records always win out in the end.
