Another New One -- 'Minorit...

Another New One -- 'Minority Report: California Latinos Confound Predictions': Had enough yet? Tough luck. Also, I think it's very important that everyone nominate a new workable nickname for our Austrian-elect in the comments below.

I wonder why everyone is surprised. Anyone who lives in California and is reasonably awake realizes there is not one Latino community, but many. In varied number of social classes. And even those communities are beginning to disappear with miscegenation (hooray!). I can't wait for Cal to be the tea-colored state. Who needs racist (term chosen deliberately) politics anyway? Over and out.

Arnold Kennedy (he'd immediately get a pass by much of the left)

I think Davis should now be labelled the "Governor-Reject". At least until he leaves office, then he should be called as little as possible.

Der Governator.

Posted by: Ray Eckhart at October 8, 2003 04:37 PM

The number that caught my eye was Latino support for the recall; look at the overwhelming backing it got in Imperial County, then look at Arnold the Pig's narrow margin in the same county. If Davis had just maintained his level of support from Latinos since last year, we might still not know how the recall did.

>>> And even those communities are beginning to disappear with miscegenation (hooray!).

You have no understanding of such matters. This is the typical statement of a young boy who has just imbibed a large dose of correct-thinking education from Mr. Professor. (Look at that 'hooray!' Anthropoligists could write a book on that hooray alone.)

White blood doesn't change races. It just creates color hierarchy within them.

Non-white blood doesn't destroy the white race. It may out-number it, but it never destroys it.

Dutch II

or maybe

Dutch Uber Alles

(Arnold was "Dutch" in the movie Predator, but he's not the first "Dutch" to be a Republican Governor of California)

"White blood doesn't change races. It just creates color hierarchy within them.

Non-white blood doesn't destroy the white race. It may out-number it, but it never destroys it."

I've always been proud of the work my red blood cells do day in and day out, even it they do outnumber my white blood cells, who do the important work of destroying disease. I don't think any less of either, but I never knew my white blood cells created color heirarchies within my circulatory system. Are they responsible for turning blood blue?

Remarks about California becoming 'tea-colored' are seen as hip by dipfucks who think they're being correct-thinking, but they are saying white people deserve to die. Fuck you and your correct-thinking idiocy, oh, and your crazy humor.

Ken Layne. I've heard of you. Bloggerville references. A blogger.

Now I know you're a dick too!!

Posted by: ct at October 8, 2003 11:30 PM

Of course, Ken Layne, if by chance you weren't referring to me in your blanket rather vague assault on comment writers on this blog then I take everything back and stand by you against the forces of evil.

Posted by: ct at October 8, 2003 11:45 PM

Hooray for CT! You & Ben (at least ... I'm too tired to look through the entire 18 post list) are the Few & the Proud. Join me in fighting evil ... I will start pretty soon, after this DVD & last glass of wine ... y'all go on without me, I'll catch up. I swear to God, I'll catch up!

Also, "School of Rock" is as funny / entertaining as they say.

What many pundits failed to realized that there are actually quite a large population of Latino who are middle class and Republican leaning. My co-worker is a second generation California, whose parents naturalized legally. And it pissed him off to no end when Gray Davis give away driver license to the illegals. His parents also cannot afford health insurance (retired), and Davis is trying to give that to the illegals.

The Governator

Posted by: Don at October 9, 2003 07:18 AM

As a state employee, I'm just going to call him "boss." Good article about the Hispanic "bloc" Matt. California really is unique. Even though we do have minority blocs, they blend more like colors in a Persian carpet. Everybody's all over the place, mixing and mingling.

I'm not overly optimistic about the ability of the Governor-elect to solve our problems as easily as he suggested in his campaign, but my experience in life tells me to never underestimate the power of leadership. As a Californian, I wish him good luck.

I'm with Roger. I think being a tea-bag state is great. Oh I am definitely proud of my (mostly) English heritage, but I would gladly trade in my ass-white skin for some more sun-friendly brown skin in an instant!

Gee, maybe if I find a hot darkie, wetback, or gook woman in this tea bag state, my kids will be more lucky than me and have a better complexion that doesn't fry so easily when exposed to the sun.

Sorry for the racist terms, but this has just gotten too ridiculous. Why are we still talking about skin color? How completely-fucking-meaningless. We can talk about language, culture, ethnicity, but race and skin color are totally stupid ways to classify people.
