a brain knows we should deal with this issue (which ain't that simple) honestly. But no one I know of even gets close to it. And look for more demagoguery in the coming election season. That's the lsat place to expect any rationality.

Does anybody else get the impression that Matt Welch is eventually going to scandalize his colleagues at the libertarian Reason magazine by coming out against illegal immigration? He's been writing scare articles like "Re-propping 187" about how us bad guys at VDARE.com and our arguments are coming back into mainstream debate, but the funny thing is: he sure seems to give us all the best lines in his pieces. C'mon, Matt, come out of the closet!

I had forgtotten Bustamante's little "N-Word" problem from a couple of years back, and his manuevering to scuttle the replacement candidate part of the recall had me thinking of Dick "Executive Orders Are Cool!" Gephardt. Since the gloves are already off on the Democratic side, I certainly don't think it would be out of line to remind California voters that Bustamante has been known to casually use racial slurs in public, that he seems to have little problem with ignoring the written law if it suits his political ends, and that he's been associated with a political group whose position papers look as if they were cribbed from a "Shadowrun" game.

Dude, that is HILARIOUS. I don't know if anyone else gets it tho...kinda obscure

(Mecha = racial secessionists = Bustamantes' organization) & (Shadowrun = futuristic RPG for nerds = "cool/futuristic" ethnic-corporation based superstates in the future)
