Must-Do List: The Mr. T Exp...

Spaceland tonight. Show up, and yell "maybe the Weathermen were right, Frank!" ... I dare ya. Incidentally, if you haven't been reading Dr. Frank's account these past two weeks of making the new MTX record, then you haven't been reading the best thing going on the Internet.

You know what else, Totten? We got the crazy-ass guvnah shit! Whaddya got up in Portland, huh? Urban growth boundaries. Breaching dams. Salmon. Least it doesn't rain much.

Janis -- Terrific. Frank may look cuddly and shy on his blog, but he's a sexy punk-rock mofo as a front man. Lots of scissor-leg action, turned ankles, flipped up collar. Also, when he asked the crowd what they wanted to hear, 10 people shouted "Hitler!"

Elvis with a Reich? God a mighty ...

There's a funny story about that, which he posted about a week or two back ... but I'm too tired to find it. Seeing Frank was great.

Then tonight I met Elizabeth Spiers! (It's pronounced "Spires," by the way. Damned New Yorkers, with their "names" .... ) We exchanged very useful dirt on Nick Denton.

Hmm. I thought it was "Speers". By the way, happy birthday to both of you. The thirties are good years.
