"I'm 'Shaq' and Kobe's 'Awe...

"I'm 'Shaqs

Matt, what I don't get about Lakers fans is that you have a perfectly non-evil alternative there in town--the Clippers--and yet you're still a Lakers fan. It's like being a Yankees fan when the Mets are right there. Or being a Cowboys fan anywhere in America. Why embrace Sports Evil?

Matt, I'm sorry but the proper use of the shock and awe cliche with regards to basketball is, of couse, the "Hawk and Awe" that Marquette experienced on Saturday...

Well, it is improvement over his Yao Ming quote. What an asshole.

Hey now, it's perfectly acceptable to be a Yanks fan -- especially for those of us who live on the Bronx side of things, as opposed to our neighbors in Queens and Long Island.

In any case, I'm of the opinion that "Shaq and Awe" are going to be "out of gas and possible injured" from the way things look over here.

Dallas and San Antonio are looking very good.

dallas is looking great, despite a couple of sour games here at the end. san antonio looks good too (though if you're not from texas, you may not understand the very quickly budding rivalry between the two, and how hard it is to say that.)

mavs and spurs more than make up for the cowboys; i don't think all the good teams in cali combined make up for the lakers. shaq and awe? dallas is bringing regime change!
