Marvelous News -- Newsday J...

Marvelous News -- Newsday Journalists Fuse I have traded many friendly e-mails over the years with McAllester, and I feared the worst. Moises is buds with my friend Jim Lowney, who's been crossing his fingers until they turned purple.

I have a bad feeling about reporters in Baghdad, just like I have a bad feeling about chemical weapons being used on our troops encircling the city. I don't see how the Ba'athists have much incentive not to do their absolute worst, unless it's the prospect of A) surviving, and B) being subject to a war crimes trial. Hard to imagine that's much of a deterrent, but one can hope.

I have a bad feeling about the possible use of chemical weapons also. I'm not a military expert, but I wonder if the reason there aren't more divisions at the front lines is because the ones that are there are WMD fodder. Sort of like Operation Human Shield in South Park: The Movie.

It's nice these days to see a piece of news pop up that isn't total sh*te. May all of their colleagues "over there" be as lucky, brave so1:35 PM
