More Los Angeles Examiner P...

More Los Angeles Examiner Pages From the Mockup: The site's been redesigned, with more of the pages shown. Click around, have fun. We're still tweaking with it, obviously. ...

To clear up some minor confusion -- those who have signed up for a trial subscription will see the actual first issue when the actual first issue appears, in early June. The prototype is just that, and it's only been sent thus far to a few score pals, contributors, media people, investors, bloggers, conspirators, etc. Many of you who fit in those categories will see the thing just as soon as I collate addresses and such. It's pretty busy around here; trying to meet deadlines, pack up our apartment, move into a new house, do LAX stuff, abuse my friends to fix our Internet outages, and other excuses. E-mail, sending out issues, and the maintenance of this site will all conceivably continue to suffer....

Hell with that stupid Gott I say Vondrackova for president!!!! She's a lot smarter and funnier and can hold her own with a hostile interviewer.

I'd vote for Honza Machacek of Garaz & the Velvet Revival Band (not to mention Respekt). He knows more about economics than Havel ever did, has an even stronger taste for drink, and anyone who can sing "Haa-ro-een" like that has my vote.
