Ken -- Thanks, doob! Went to the game Friday ... fantastic. Had seats by the right-field foul pole, which means I had a terrific view of A) Hunter's terrific snag of Salmon's sure double, B) Ochoa's diving catch in the 9th inning, C) the balls clearing the fence for both Anderson's & Glaus' home runs. Woo-hoo!

Yesterday still hasn't been processed. I lost faith in the top of the 7th, though Os was very good about getting some beer & tequila in my system to ride out the storm, which he assured me would be over soon. Boy, was it.

Note that in both clinching games, the Angels won with what can only be described as spasms of violence -- the 8-run sixth inning against the Yankees, the 10-run seventh-inning freakout against the Twins. More grist for my theory that these represented nothing short of Murder On the Orient Express-style group killings of all the evil Angel spirits of days gone past....
