Feisty Defense of Ansel Ada...

Feisty Defense of Ansel Adams and the Western Aesthetic: By the happily biased Kenneth Brower, in another excellent issue of The Atlantic. Fun bashing of Manhattan's media/art sensibility.

I don't know, Mr. Welch. Most writing about art is too verbose, including this piece. It could be distilled to about three sentences. "I knew Mr. Adams. This retrospective is not representative of his life's work. The curator of MOMA seems to have an urban disregard for Mr. Adam's vision."
Speaking of western sensibilities, what about those fish tacos?
