Just wondering if you had any response to MaxSpeak's description of you as a "Corporate media-manufactured fake liberal" and "a pretender to liberal label while purveying centrist, center-right, non-partisan, or libertarian claptrap, especially in hoked-up phony teevee debates" [].

Is MaxSpeak wrong?

Henry -- I haven't edited any of these comments, and if it comes to that, I'll probably just shut the feature down. It's been mostly in good fun & interest, but there's a trend toward red-faced nastiness lately that I hope reverses itself. Y'all be cool!

Speaking of which, Rugelio? If I responded to every half-wit smear-job against me in blog-land, there would not be time enough in the day to eat, let alone attempt in my immodest way to Further the Debate. I would suggest you merely read "MaxSpeak"'s description again, slowly, and make your own rebuttal. To which I'd only add: Feel free to scan my resume & clips for examples of my writing for the "corporate media." While you're at it, count up all my appearances on "phony teevee debates." Good Lord, this childish bullshit is tiresome.

Wanninski: "it has been a waste of time for reporters to fuss about the exact number"

In other words, according to Jude, it doesn't matter that a half million children didn't die. He's really, really weird.

Heh. I read further down, and saw you already commented on that exact phrase... oh well...
