Must-read Hitchens, on Davi...

Must-read Hitchens, on David Brock: I'm way late to this one, but what the hell. The substantive bits are important (to the extent that Brock's silly lies are worth talking about), but I laughed hardest at this personal tidbit:

Etiquette requires that I mokie("mtcmtmail"); document.comments_form.author.value = getCookie("mtcmtauth"); document.comments_form.url.value = getCookie("mtcmthome"); if (getCookie("mtcmtauth")) { document.comments_form.bakecookie[0].checked = true; } else { document.comments_form.bakecookie[1].checked = true; } //-->
eved to find I am not his type. However, I forgive him this sophomoric passage because its empty hatred was so obviously feigned after the event, and because it describes me as five years younger than I am.

Matt:
Have you read Brock's book? I'm about three-quarts through it...

"Must read"? Jeez, you have low standards, don't you?

That article won't convince anybody who isn't already on Hitchen's side.

Matt,

Offtopic, but every apostrophe in your blog has just gone to hell in the last week. It just started a few days back, but every time I see you write "I'm" it comes out as "Iím". No other site is showing this problem so I'm assuming it's you rather than me...

on Mac OS 9.1 Mozilla 1.0 fyi...

Gotta love Hitch, I just wish he checked Snopes.com more often...

I've met Mr. H and I don't think he's all that shiny and sparkly. I saw yellow waxy build up. But, and don't flame me for being heterosexist, but doesn't Block have a higher standard of cleanliness than the rest of us?

Not sure to what you're referring re: Hitchens and Snopes.com, but snopes.com is not infallible. Useful, yes, infallible, no.
